GE is a mid-sized (40+) consultancy with an excellent reputation offering ecology, arboricultural and land management services. Working for a wide variety of clients across the south of England and into Wales, we are big enough to work on major projects (1000+ unit residential schemes, 1000 acre renewables sites, national utilities contracts etc.) yet small enough to feel like you are part of a close-knit team. We are a company that puts its staff first, creating a fun non-corporate atmosphere where a love of wildlife is shared across a team of like-minded people and where work life balance is practised not just preached. GE offer hybrid working and true flexibility without an obsession on timesheets and utilisation reporting, where trust is at the core of your relationship with the company.

This role will vary depending on your level of experience but we require experienced ecologists capable of conducting surveys, writing reports and managing a wide variety of interesting projects to join our team.

GE have a strong record of developing ecologist’s careers, providing all with a good balance of field and office work, a variety of project types and a system where all project managers have the ability to run projects from cradle to grave.
