Wildscapes Consultancy is a successful social enterprise and CIEEM Registered practice delivering professional ecological, land management and nature-based solutions that work for businesses, people and wildlife.  All profits from the consultancy are returned to Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, the parent company, to help fund their charitable work conserving the natural environment and connecting people with nature.

The consultancy’s turnover and profitability has considerably grown in recent years, and there is now an exciting opportunity to build on this further.

We are looking for a highly capable and motivated Consultancy Manager to develop and lead Wildscapes to the next level.  We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader with sound knowledge and expertise in winning contracts and ensuring they are delivered to a high standard.

Salary: £38,391 pa + 9% pension contribution

Duration: Permanent

The role involves line managing a multi-disciplinary team of ecologists, land managers and associates, both in the office and at remote locations, securing new work and carrying out contract management, quality control and health & safety procedures. Engaging clients and seeking out new contract work is an essential part of the role.

We are looking for a highly proficient Senior/Principal Ecologist who is seeking a Consultancy Manager role.  You will have a relevant qualification, MCIEEM and at least five years’ experience in a senior position delivering contracts including; initial client liaison, pricing, bidding, scheduling, project management, practical delivery and quality and H&S assurance.  Experience in developing and maintaining excellent client relationships across a range of organisations and sectors is also essential.
