Overview

If you have good botanical identification skills, recent experience of writing Extended Phase 1 reports and some awareness of protected species in the UK then this could provide a great opportunity to build on your experiences of ecological consultancy working.

Working as part of our small, friendly, team under the guidance of the Senior Ecologist, your duties will include delivering commissioned contract work, both fieldwork and report writing, and working alongside our broad range of clients. You will also have a good appreciation of health and safety in the workplace, a full driving licence and the ability to work flexibly along with good IT skills and preferably a working knowledge of GIS.  A current first aid certificate and being member (or working towards membership) of a professional body such as IEEM would be an advantage although not essential.

Due to the nature of the role, regular evening, occasional weekend and occasional overnight work stays will be required, for which time off will be allowed in lieu subject to T.O.I.L procedures.
