Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team. You will be given a hands-on role in project management an, as well as the opportunity to increase your experience in the day-to-day running of a thriving consultancy. There is also an exciting opportunity to get involved with research projects planned for 2022, as well as increasing our input in sustainability, though stacking and bundling of net-gain, carbon, nutrient budgeting, and air quality.

A minimum of 6 years’ experience in an ecological consultancy or similar setting is required, along with a good grounding in Phase 1 survey/UK Habs technique and good botanical ID skills. A high degree of competency in protected species surveys and habitat assessments, as well as protected species and habitat mitigation is required. A protected species license is desirable but not essential and we aim to support our staff in achieving their career goals in this regard. Experience in managing a team, including subcontractors, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject required as a minimum and affiliation to CIEEM is required.
