Are you passionate about the environment and interested in gaining experience in the field of ecology? We are currently seeking Seasonal Ecologists to join our Biodiversity team, who all share a passion for protecting our wildlife, plant species and habitats.

As a Seasonal Ecologist, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting our efforts in preserving and protecting the natural world. This position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to expand their hands-on experience in ecological research and conservation. You’ll work on a wide range of UK and International Sustainable Infrastructure, Renewables and Low Carbon Energy Transition projects.

These roles are largely field based with possible short stays (5-10 days) away from home. The Seasonal Fixed Term Contracts run from 1st March to 30th September with possible progression to a permanent role following.

About you

Applicants should be degree qualified in Ecology/Zoology or a related field. You will be familiar with ecology survey guidance and legislation, and have some prior experience undertaking surveys; protected species and/or habitats and botanical. You’ll be a member of CIEEM or working towards this, and possess a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK. We look forward to hearing from you!
