Overview

A seasonal botanical surveyor is needed to carry out assessments of herbivore impacts, site condition monitoring, NVC and Phase 1 surveys across a number of sites in Scotland. Some of these are in mountainous and remote locations and the work requires physically fit surveyors who are able to cover a significant amount of ground without footpaths. Some in-house will be given in the relevant techniques, but an ability to identify common species of plant found on mountains, moorland and bogs is essential.

An appropriate level of remuneration will be paid depending on skills, experience, Accommodation will be provided at each site.
