About the Team
Our Ecology, Historic Environment & Landscape (EHEL) team is looking to employ the following full-time officers to bolster its Planning, Projects and Records teams as well as develop a new Natural Capital team. You will be joining a dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced team of 14 ecology, 5 historic environment and 3 landscape officers.
We have four roles to fill:
- Team Manager [Planning or Natural Capital] (£43,421 – £45,441) – permanent
- Senior Ecologist [Planning] (£39,186 – £41,418) – permanent
- Ecologist [Planning] (£33,945 – £35,745) – permanent
- Assistant Ecologist [Records and Planning] (£26,421 – £28,770) – permanent

About the Role

Planning: We are looking for an Ecologist that will be primarily supporting planning responses either within Warwickshire or Coventry. Candidates who understand and have experience of planning advice will be looked upon favourably for this role.
Key Requirements
We will be choosing someone that fits into the existing team based on existing skills coupled with an enthusiasm to expand skill sets. We have a workforce training plan that promotes active progression from apprentices to Service Manager, following the respective chartered institute competency frameworks (or equivalent).
