Overview

We’re looking for experienced Ecological Consultants and Senior Ecological Consultants to join our growing team, located in or around the West Midlands, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire regions.

Salary: £30,500 – £42,000 dependent on experience, plus paid overtime.

The successful candidate will be involved in the direct project management and delivery of a wide range of projects, including baseline ecological surveys, report writing and mitigation design for planning and biodiversity net gain assessments.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in ecological consultancy. Essential skills and experience include:

  • Competency in UK Habitat Classification (UKHab) surveys and assessments.
  • Experience of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessment using the Defra Metric.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage workloads, and project delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • A valid CSCS card and protected species survey licences would be advantageous but are not essential.
