Are you looking to enter a career in conservation with an interest in data analysis? The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust are currently looking for a trainee to assist with data collection and data analysis to help support the Trusts’ work.

£8.45 per hour plus holidays; temporary fixed term position for nine months starting in early May 2017 respectively; part-time; 28 hours per week; Based at Beechcroft House, Curdridge, Hampshire, SO32 2DP.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is the leading local nature conservation charity and is one of the largest of the county-based Wildlife Trusts with a lively, dedicated and passionate team of 85 staff and 900 volunteers.

We are looking for someone keen to enter a career in conservation with an interest in data analysis to join the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. The successful applicant will assist in the delivery of data collation and analysis, research tasks, ecological survey and reporting, and support Trust staff in the delivery of externally funded survey and project work. The post holder will be provided with in-house and external training, and gain essential experience in data collection and collation, data analysis, use of geographical information systems (GIS), survey work, reporting, practical conservation management and team working.
