The role

We have a vacancy for a full time, permanent, Project Administrator based in our modern offices in the Surrey Research Park.  As Project Administrator for Thomson Habitats you will work alongside the project management team and General Manager, to provide a range of administrative and resourcing tasks.  The role will be varied and will suit someone with a strong administrative background and interest in wildlife and/or ecology.

The successful candidate will be

  • educated to GCSE Maths and English C+ as well as holding A-Levels
  • a competent user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • experienced in dealing with a range of clients and suppliers over the telephone and via e-mail
  • highly organised with the ability to multi-task
  • confident to work independently, and as part of a team
  • self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.

Ideally, the successful candidate will also have

  • experience of working in an office environment
  • experience of financial administration, processing invoices and purchase orders, recording costs, timesheets and expenses
  • initiative to improve processes and drive efficiency
  • a full UK driver’s licence.

The successful candidate will live within commuting distance of Guildford or be prepared to relocate.
