Overview

We are currently recruiting for our May 2017 bat surveyor training programme.

Each year, ECOSA relies on a pool of skilled bat surveyors to help deliver our busy survey schedule. If you have a keen interest in ecology, are looking to increase your knowledge and gain valuable experience in this field of work, and are available to undertake surveys during the summer months (evenings and early mornings), ECOSA would love to hear from you.

Full training from experienced ecologists will be provided. We look for a high standard of work and competence in producing clear and thorough results. Applications from licensed bat workers or experienced bat surveyors are particularly welcomed.

You will need to be available for dusk and dawn survey work and be based in Hampshire or the adjoining counties. You may be required to travel further afield for survey work and stay in accommodation overnight. Having your own transport and a full driving licence is essential.

Please send your CV and covering email, with details of any relevant survey experience and your likely availability during the bat survey season to admin@ecosa.co.uk with the subject title “Bat Surveys 2017”.

Training is expected to commence during late May 2017; this will include an evening session.

All posts at ECOSA are open only to individual applicants and not recruitment or other agencies.
