Field Ecologists … Schofield Lothian seeks to appoint two Field Ecologists to expand our growing ecology team, reporting to the Principal Ecologist. The successful candidates will be expected to take an important role helping to ensure the delivery of high quality ecological services. This exciting role requires you to: carry out habitat and protected species surveys; desk study investigations and data analysis; report writing; Ecological Clerk of Works duties, show a willingness to learn new skills and the ability to assimilate new information quickly. It is essential you are degree qualified in Ecology/Environmental Science (or similar). Competency in the survey of one or more of the following key protected species: bats, dormouse, great crested newts, badgers, reptiles, water voles and / or otters and have at least one protected species license.
