Overview

We are looking to recruit a fieldwork coordinator to join our growing team in Stroud. This is an exciting opportunity to join a young, dynamic and fun team in a rapidly growing company.

The position is permanent and full-time The role is primarily scheduling and organising ecological surveys as part of large infrastructure projects.  The job will be office-based, and will be on fast-moving and dynamic, nationally significant projects.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Organising and managing ecological survey schedules on large projects, involving our extensive network of ecologist contractors.
  • Liaising with client contacts and contractors to ensure timely delivery of work requirements.
  • Leading involvement in a wide array of associated project challenges.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be highly organised, IT literate and experienced in using common MS office software packages.
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Be dynamic and motivated
  • Be able to work under pressure and quickly adapt to changing work requirements
  • Be conscientious and have attention to detail

Desirable:

  • An interest/experience in ecological consultancy
  • Experience of working on large infra structure schemes
  • Experience of managing and coordinating large teams of people working remotely
