Our client is an independent Environmental Consultancy who provide planning and design advice to clients throughout the UK. This fast expanding organisation is looking to appoint an Ecologist to join their team of experts based in Shrewsbury.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, professional and competent. You will have a relevant undergraduate degree, 2-5 years’ consultancy experience and experience undertaking protected species surveys and Extended Phase 1 surveys. Full or Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and a protected species licence are desirable.

As an Ecologist, you will play a role in preparing and undertaking Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), protected species surveys and will produce high quality reports. You will assist the team in all aspects of Ecology and consultancy and will be involved in fieldwork, project work and fee proposals.
